Haywain Recordings freut sich, die Label-Release-Party der drei aktuellen Veröffentlichungen für den 03. September 2010 in den Räumen von systM (Torstraße 68, Berlin, 18 Uhr) anzukündigen.
Präsentiert wird das Album ‘Elegiac Stanzas’ von Johnny3000 aka Ulrich Stern. Stern hat hier Stücke seiner gesamten Laufbahn auf das Wesentliche reduziert und begleitet seinen Gesang mit Gitarre, Orgel und Mundharmonika. Dabei ist ein solitäres, introvertiertes Album entstanden, welches er erstmals im Rio Reiser Haus im August 2009 live vorstellte. http://www.myspace.com/johnny3000band

Kein Nachbar ist Château Laut böse, wenn sie mit ihrer Musik die Scheiben einschlagen. Hübsche Rock-Outfits freuen sich, von ihnen beschmiert zu werden. Und Konzertbesucher bemerken manchmal nicht, wie sie langsam anfangen müssen zu grinsen. Château Laut haben seit Erscheinen ihres Debut-Albums 2009 beim Kölner Indielabel bluNoise viele schöne Möglichkeiten bekommen, ihren Wirkungskreis zu erweitern. Gigs mit den Japanern Mono, Long Distance Calling aus Münster und der Deutschlandtour mit bluNoise Labelmates Nicoffeine folgten 2009 Konzerte mit Skeletons aus New York und Dmonstrations aus Tokio und L.A.. Ende April 2010 spielte das Berliner Quartett eine Jamsession mit Ex-Can Frontmann Damo Suzuki im ausverkauften ‘Ausland’ (Berlin) und im Mai auf dem Berliner ‘Friction Fest’. Mehrere Songs ihres Debut-Albums wurden von RP Kahl für den Soundtrack seines Films ‘Bedways’ ausgewählt, der auf der Berlinale 2010 Premiere feierte und seit Juni bundesweit im Kino läuft.

Jeanie Bueller ist die Band von Stephan Laackman, dem Betreiber von Haywain Recordings. Komplettiert durch dessen langjährige Freunde, die Elektronik-Musiker Christian Schlösser und Paul Köhler, steht die Band für filigranen, leisen und instrumentalen Indierock. Johnny3000 – Elegiac Stanzas (CD)
Johnny3000 is Ulrich Stern. He performs the songs of his new album ‘Elegiac Stanzas’ solo acoustic. Stern reduced a selection of songs of his career to the essence, just accompanied by guitar, organ and harp. Doing so, he created a solitary, withdrawn album, which he presented in the summer of 2009 for the first time, as he was invited to perform on the premises of the Rio Reiser Haus.

Château Laut – The Day will come Tonight (Split 12″)
No neighbour would be mad at Château Laut for smashing windows with their music. Pretty rock outfits are delighted to be stained by them. And sometimes the audience doesn´t even notice when it starts smiling. Since the 2009 release of their debut album through Cologne-based label bluNoise, Château Laut have had some great opportunities to extend their sphere of activity. Gigs with Japanese band Mono, Long Distance Calling and bluNoise label mates Nicoffeine were followed by shows with Skeletons from New York and Dmostrations from Tokyo and L.A.. At the end of April, 2010 Château Laut played a sold out jam session with ex-Can frontman Damo Suzuki at the ’Ausland‘ venue in Berlin; in May they appeared at the Berlin ’Friciton Fest‘. Several songs off their debut album were chosen by director RP Kahl for the soundtrack of his movie ’Bedways‘. The film premiered at the Berlin film festival 2010 and has been released to cinemas nationwide all over Germany in June.

Jeanie Bueller is the band of Stephan Laackman, the head of Haywain Recordings. Completed by his long time friends, electronic musicians Christian Schlösser and Paul Köhler, the band stands for delicate, silent, instrumental indie rock. At heart an escapist project the split 12“ vinyl marks their first official release.

‘citystreet hihat’ is an audio series of spontaneous field recording sessions of artists and bands on tour, offside the venues and regular concerts: captured in hotel rooms, on the street, at a lake or roof top.. Topped off with individual art work and photos, the episodes are released for free as virtual 7‘‘ on the labels website. The first of those features Tiny Vipers (Jesy Fortino) and will be releases as a free virtual 7″ on the label’s website.
